With other projects, there are often user groups. Does Home Assistant have user groups? For example, in Canada.

There are no custom groups. There are two built in groups:
- Local access only
- Administrator
You can apply labels to person entities.

Well yeah posting in the configuration category was not obvious.
If it is the case the answer is still no. Though there are some country specific topics.
Well it exists some foreign languages community like HACF (hacf.fr) for french speaking users of HA

Yeah there are a bunch of other forums in different languages. Getting help in languages other than English not sure that’s what they were asking for though.
I think this forum is the “user group” for HA.
In the old-school sense of “user group,” people who physically meet, that does happen occasionally in the form of local meet-ups. But groups of people actually meeting regularly IRL is pretty rare these days.

There’s meetups every month and once a year there is community day sponsored by OHF. Community day this year is Nov 7. You can host in your city if you want, there’s a sign up sheet.
