Just saw this project and had to share:
The form factor and functions are so close to the Voice Preview Edition, wondering if it would work to to stuff the internals into a similar design? The default integration and sound output are already there.
Really all that is missing is an RFID reader, Hall effect sensor, and stepper motor (bonus upgrade). I haven’t played with the inside of the HA Voice and don’t have in hand today. The firmware could be updated, but does anyone know if there are ESP32 pins open to control these hardware addons?
