I'm going through the getting started guide below, and I installed Home Assistant on a raspberry pi, and I connected my Home Assistant voice to wifi, but at that point what I'm seeing differs from the instructions. After completing step 5 and connecting to wifi, it asks me if I want to setup ESPHome, and asks for the host name, but I'm not sure what that is supposed to be. The first time I set it up, I skipped the step, but after doing that it didn't show my voice device on the devices list, and I had to do a factory reset and start over.

The Voice PE is an ESPHome device so the integration is required, I'm surprised it's not in the list of prerequisites. The host name should be the ip address of the device, in this case your Voice PE... that should be all you need I think. See ESPHome Integration Documentation.

Thanks, I ended up figuring out what went wrong. I accidentally put it on my guest network.
