HAOS doesn’t allow a static secondary LAN adapter with no gateway in the web UI?
It seems more of a bug but when adding a secondary network adapter for LAN-only use (different vlan) it works BUT when trying to finish setting up my static IP, the HA web interface (adv mode) won’t allow me to enter a blank gateway IP address.
I added a new virtual network adapter (diff vlan) in the HAOS VM via Proxmox and that went fine but when finalizing the static IP info the web interface doesn’t allow it.

HAOS is designed for flat networks. so if you want to force it to do something you may need to use a different style of install that provides advanced capabilities that rely on the user to control,

Home Assistant is an automation platform, not a network router. Use a router for network rules.
Not having a gateway on a secondary adapter is suggested on this forum for example even as a security precaution. As-is the UI is blocking that suggestion. I see that as a bug.
I carried it through via Proxmox console nmcli commands but obviously I would love it to be in the web UI.
