I am running on a Home Assistant Yellow with Raspberry Pi CM5. I have just updated Home Assistant Core to 2026.8.3 and OS to 18.2. After updating, I have a new firmware update available for the Yellow in Settings, to update from 2025-01-22 to 2026-05-11.
I am wary of just clicking update on this and so far have only found information about updating the firmware via terminal.
So far, everything appears to be working fine after updating Core and OS, but it sounds like the firmware update is required. Has anything changed to allow this firmware update to simply run from the update button or do I need to do this via the terminal?
