I seem to have a odd issue where the UI keeps going down and only a reboot or a unplug and connect of the network gets it back up again. I can ping it though and its “working” is anyone else had any issues like this?
Thats the weirdest i’ve heard, but now that you know, i suggest you use the Network-cable solution ( cause if that works, your HA obviously does to )
Get familiar with you ha-logfile /Settings/system/logs, there you find it
To the right ( the famous 3 dots is a Menu, with additional options, it’s does not do any harm to click on them ) (Download logfile/Refresh file/See RAW file)
Just to make sure, have you also tried the “Refresh brower” and the “clear all cache ALL” solutions/tests ?
Is it just on your favorite phone, or you have other devices you can access HA with ?
No not tried that, i will next time.
phone, laptop, the app. They all can’t connect.
Make sure you also rule out the network cable as the “bad/loose” end
I replaced the cable that was a shielded one with a basic one, monitoring it but it’s currently still working.
Not happened since so must have been the screen doing something?
Shielded cables need to be tied to ground at both ends, otherwise they pick up massive interference and cause more troubles than they solve.
