Home Assistant Yellow upgrade CM4 with MMC and NVMe to CM5 lite with NVMe

Hi,

a have a bit of a special scenario and was wondering if anyone else has gone through the same.

I started with a HA Yellow and a CM4 with MMC. Later I got an NVMe SSD and moved HA to it using this procedure: https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/articles/25549332241949-Adding-an-SSD-to-a-Yellow-with-an-existing-Home-Assistant-installation

Now I want to upgrade to a CM5 lite (no MMC) and on the HA Yellow page it lists 2 potential paths for me 1. Migrating from CM4 with NVMe to CM5 with NVMe and 2. Migrating from CM4 Lite with NVMe to CM5 Lite with NVMe https://support.nabucasa.com/hc/en-us/categories/24734575925149-Home-Assistant-Yellow
However there is no specific one for my case coming from a CM4 MMC to a CM5 lite

I think what this hinges on is whether when I moved to the NVMe some months ago (see above), if that just moved all the data but also moved the “bootloader” or bootpartition (or whatever the thing that boots up HA OS is called) to the SSD or if that remained on the MMC.

I fear that just swapping the CM4 to CM5 lite might get me stuck with a non-bootable system if the NVMe does not have the bootloader on it. On the other hand there is no place to install it with the rpiboot process as there is no where to install anything on the CM5 as it has no MMC.

If anyone has done this with the same setup I would be super grateful for a hint what I need to do.
