Home connect - Bosch/Siemens integration

no problem with me but difficult to integrate in ha.

So this does not make it sound as an issue in your home?
:man_facepalming:

Of course, it’s probably something with my installation, but what does that have to do with the issue? The problem is still there anyway. I’m asking here for tips. I don’t need confirmation that there’s something wrong with me or my setup, I need advice on what I can do to fix my challenge.

But don’t you have any useful response? How about not answering until you have a concrete tip apart from personal attacks and silly answers?

Repeating the error message I get. This is what HA gives in response to an automation when I press a local button on one of my Bosch devices

There you have it ask ai what does this mean in combination with yout locally button push.

Have you tried re-authing as we have suggested?
How about removing the integration and adding it again to make sure you wipe HA clean from credentials to the integration?
Have you tried using the API manually from their developer page?

If you had read my introductory post you would have seen that I shared the error message already there. But obviously I can’t expect too much here.

Please give me a specific tip or don’t comment.

I told you already but you don’t want to listen. You want that someone tells you click this and that problem solved. That kind of solution doesn’t exist.

  1. Install spook integration for home assistant and let it do it thing.
  2. Check other devices that might be running the same automation your are trying to run on home assistant.

If you spend a minute of your time you could find out that this error might occur when you manually start some function and then use automation to start the same function. That is why you can have forbidden error. You are calling function that is already running.
As you done a lot of your automations over various devices using different platforms maybe some of those devices is calling the same function without you knowing it, because you forgot what you done.

Absolutely tried to reauthorize the 3 integrations that are in HA for HC, but that doesn’t help. Reinstalled all the integrations, deleted them completely, including login information.

But manual API? You have to explain the procedure.

Djeez. Please log off this thread.

Open the developer page on Home connect and try to use the API from there.
There used to be very simple buttons you could press to initiate it, I guess they are still there.

Have you looked at the Home connect app?

Yes, but what should I look for? It looks completely normal to me, much like the picture you shared.

New development - in the Home Connect app it says “Local control is in progress, not possible to control the appliance via the app”. It appears in the app when I turn on e.g. hood or oven manually.

Can’t find it.

Applications

Then you use the web API application, make sure to authorize with the green button then you can use the API with simple clicks.

But this seems like an issue with your home or Home Connect.
I suggest you talk to them about it.
But you can always try the API first to see if that works

Maybe, but the error code seems legit and logic. and the same automations work in IFTTT.
