My issue is not only linked to Home assistant only but to all my devices using my network but I hope someone else had this issue as well.
My current setup is the following:
ISP modem set as bridge
Fresh tomato router
Adguard Home DNS running on Home assistant OS
Aerohive AP130 Access points
My location is Belgium postal code 1428
When using wifi my location is showing as being in Ursem NL, same for my wife’s phone
When using 4G location is correct
I have enabled location permissions and enabled high precision
I wonder if it’s linked to DNS request encryption, I first I thought because of BSSID being stored by Google/Microsoft but since last week I have upgraded from running wifi from my Freshtomato router to Aerohive access points and the issue is the same.
It’s really annoying for presence based automations.
I hope someone could lead me in a fix.
