I’m planning to switch to a mini PC so that I can:
- Control my devices via Home Assistant: Zigbee (Tuya), Delta Dore, Eufy, Steinel, LG, Velux, Samsung, Cozytouch, Roborock, Ezviz, Dreame
- Store and remotely access my photos, videos, movies, and documents via Immich/Jellyfin/…
- Block ads via Home Guard
- Back up my camera footage for several days
I was thinking of this storage setup:
- One SSD for the OS
- One SSD for storing my photos, videos, movies, and documents
- One SSD for storing video footage from my cameras
I already own a Samsung 990 Pro 1TB M.2 2280 SSD.
I’d like to be able to connect the future mini PC via 2.5 GbE and control future Matter/Thread devices.
What do you recommend I buy to suit this project?
