*** Is there a way to simply GET OFF OF THIS VERSION and revert back to the previous version..???? ****

Yes. This command at the CLI:

ha core update --version x.y.z

Where x.y.z is the version you want. e.g. 2026.5.3

https://www.home-assistant.io/common-tasks/os#home-assistant-via-the-command-line

Thanks.. I will revert then see if I can figure out what happened.
thx

after upgrading to latest version my old iPad IOS15.8 was not able to show anything.... was able to login but then lost connection to HA... all newer devices had no problems at all... after reverting to 2026.5.3 my iPad is back to normal.... can I expect that this old device has reached the end of life for HA?

You've marked a rollback to a known working previous version as the solution.

Can I suggest it is a workaround, rather than a fix?

Yes you are up and running again, but your underlying Insteon problem, exposed by the update, has not been resolved, yet.

Has the problem been reported to the developers on GitHub where they are more likely to notice your problem and fix it there, probably in the next release?

I assume you were using the iPad’s web browser and not actualy running HA on the iPad. What is likey the problem is that Safari is old. Maybe you could try using Chrome on the iPad?

for me 2026.6.2 fixed it, companion app is working again on iOS 15.8

Me also 2026.6.2 fixed mine. Thanks

Same for me, the 2026.6.2 works now on iPadOS 15.8, either with the companion app of web browser.
