The Homeassistant app is downright painfully slow.
It’s been a long time since people took some old tablet that didn’t have a better use and turned it into a Homeassistant desktop center.
While I was able to use my old Yoga tab for this purpose without any problems about a year ago, now it’s basically useless. The app seems to be now so bloated that loading the desktop takes forever and some elements like custom:apexcharts-card don’t load at all. However, when I open the same view in a browser, the difference is drastic - not butterflies and rainbows, but at least ten times faster. Also everything actually loads.
Is there any better workarounds or settings. Obviously I could keep using just browser but this has own drawbacks, I dont want to keep my passwords in browser.
I have HA running on an 2 years old Intel I3 and apexcharts do usually not load first time in that either.
I nees to switch view away and back for it to update.bitbis the card that somehow fails, not the power of the hardware.
As I already said its Yoga tab, YT3-X50L only thing to add here is that android version it runs is 6.
Google does not give any updates to it long time. So far it did that only job it was able to do with HA.
