Good morning,
I have a question for the Heishamon experts.
Homeassistant is already running, it was really a hassle for me…
Now the Heishamon board should be integrated.
The first thing I want to control with this is a time delay when clocking.
That means: If the HP switches off on its own, I want to have a break of an hour before the pump switches on again.
Which entities should I address?
Has anyone already implemented something like this?
thank you for your help
Hello,
just started today. Got Heishamon up and running and connected to HA. I am looking at doing HP control based on electricity price so that it would save some €. My first idea is to use cheapest x hours based on nominal output power of the heat pump and my home heating consumption at any given temperature. For normally priced hours i would just take x first hours to satisfy the 24 hour average. at those cheapest hours i would set the desired water temperature higher and for the more expensive hours i would significantly lower the setpoint temps. for extermely high hours i would turn off the heat pump. So setpoint temperatures is my first idea.
But I am only starting.
For your case you could also just turn off the heat pump for x minutes once you see you have hit the target temperatures.
May I ask what you wish to achieve? My heat pump seems to run firmware written by idiots. It will remain on at low power and low COP forever after actually reaching temperatures. Manually I have tried to play with setpoints and have seen that at full power or almost full power the COP is significantly better… In addition once the water is cooled, it will have an extra benefit of a period where dT is much better for COP.
