HomeAssistant impossibile to reach locally but working with cloudflare

Hi there,

I’ve this network configuration and cannot access anymore HA via local browser while connecting perfectly fine with Cloudflare.

I’ve tried to ping from HA different devices and the only one that replies is the Starlink modem.

I see on Starlink the connected HA so I guess at least its router managed to get a response.

I can ping any other device from the PC but the HA.

I’ve tried to disable Cloudflare but it didn’t work.

I’ve tried to switch Ethernet / WiFi. It didn’t work.

I’ve tried to change static IP and the gateway and dns IPs. Nothing changed.

I’ve disabled the Starlink content filtering with no luck.

I still can access remotely via Cloudflare but nothing can see HA from the network.

I cannot see any other device from HA either.

Using the terminal I can ping only Starlink.

Should I ask Elon?

What else am I missing?

Your diagram is wrong Cloudflare should be shown at the top of Starlink router. Unless you actually have a second WAN connection.
Next it is recommended to have the HA hard wired via ethernet cable. It should have a static IP address assigned from your router.
Do you have some type of client/device isolation turned on or in use on the router?
What is EV in your diagram?
What is Unifi device? Switch, UCK console, self-hosted UNS?
Is the airport a Apple wireless AP?
If Starlink is modem and router that is where to look first.

Thanks! As I suspected the issue was with Starlink.

It won’t allow me to use a static IP address for HA.

I was forcing the static IP of HA to run Ubiquity Console on it.

As soon as I used the DHCP it started to work again.

So I guess the only solution if I want to have a static IP is to use a different router since Starlink is quite limited.

Thanks anyway
