I have a remote House with Homematic IP and I try to integrate the remote access point into my local home automation. is this possible?

If you make a way VPN connection between the two networks then you should have no issues adding the remote AP to HA manually.

is this only necessary for the connection or also for operation?
You could make a portforward of the ports Homemaric IP uses, but you would have to restrict access to those port like only allow the connection from a specific IP or such.
If you have the connection for the ports, then all operations are available.
