11 days now without any unexpected behavior, so I’m pretty sure it is Siri/homepod triggering my script.
@TheNewLad interesting your logs show supervisor as the user. Mine always show my user, which would be where I’m logged in to the homeassistant app on my iPhone.
Soon I’m going to have a play with adding the script back in to my Siri shortcut. I saw there are a couple of ways to trigger scripts by shortcut actions…

Appreciate the status update!! If you get script addback worked out, it will definitely be helpful info for others.
Yeah but I can’t find an explanation as to why supervisor is doing it
I haven’t used a Google Home device in a few years. After Alexa Media Player started requiring frequent reauthorization, I bought a new-to-me Nest and added it to HA, but I muted the mic so it wouldn’t wake. I just wanted to use it as a smart speaker.
I will add that, in case @petro also has an inkling, in the script, I set the speaker’s volume before it speaks in case it ever gets turned down. But I have removed that action since the speaker’s chances of being used and the volume set lower than ideal is almost 0.
I’m listening for the chime to see if Supervisor calls the script again.
If it helps, the only controller I use outside of HA is Homekit.
Homekit - do you have any automations within homekit that trigger the script?
Same for me - I could never figure out why the script was getting triggered. I couldn’t see any pattern. It would trigger at all times of the day… sometimes I wouldn’t even be home!
OK I’ve added it back in to my iOS shortcut in a slightly different way.
Will report back.
Bedtime1 script triggered twice this morning for no reason
Pretty certain it’s homepod/homekit/siri/shortcuts that’s the problem. When I deliberately run the shortcut that triggers the script I’ve noticed the homepod ‘hangs’ for ~30 seconds at the script action, then says “sorry something went wrong” even though the script does trigger.
I don’t have a solution, I’m afraid. I’ll be removing script-triggering from my iOS shortcuts and using another method.
