You can then use the blueprints associated to setup up to 4 weekday and 4 week-end schedules with remote sensors to keep your house at a comfortable temperature.
There is an included dashboard that I use to control the temperature:
long term changes by adjusting the sensor, temperature and schedule
medium term changes by adjusting the tolerances for heat and cool (found it handy in spring and fall)
short term changes (this time interval only) by adjusting the target temperature in case of a particularly chili day
Looking for additional feedback especially from folks using thermostats in Fahrenheit to ensure i have made the appropriate adjustments to my original Celsius setup and seeing if there is general interest in this setup.
How do I change the Integration to use Fahrenheit versus Celsius? Or, does it just default to my Thermostat’s current setting?
Also,
Can you please describe the entity mappings? This being on the Thermostat Setup within the Dashboard… Which mappings go to my Thermostat entity, which go to my sensor entity, and which go to the entities your Integration creates?
you can chose your temperature unit during configuration of the integration.
the thermostat setup dashboard is all entities created by the integration, if you dont change any names it should auto populate by default with entities in the integration, only thing that might need some adjusting is the Auto Entities card on the right as the filters are quite as tight as they could be.
The thermostat dashboard would need to be updated with your thermostat entity on the top card, as well as the automation and fan entities in the bottom cards
if you have some specific problems open an issue in the repo and we can work through it.
