Hooking into Assist timers

I was trying to setup an automation to alert house-wide when an assist- timer expires, but i cant find any trace of a timer set via assist.

Any tipps?

Add any helper component (e.g momentary switch) in esphome code that will change the value during on_timer_started and use it in HA.

OK, the HA voice PE is using/configured with ESPHome to connect to HA.
What @mchk is implying: you have to edit the config of the VPE.

ATM, timers are quite new, as is the VPE, and the devs are thinking about how to bring them more to the surface so I guess in the coming releases, this will be improved.
