Hi came back from Holiday and found out that my garage door is not reacting. The debug log shows me this. Any idea what to do? I am quite new to the whole home assistant topic but eager to learn.

there are no erros in the log from what i can see, the dht sensor is not needed. Did you try another bus scan on the door?

Edit: Found a solution. The syntax has changed.
I’m now trying to switch to my own version of the recommended settings. I’ve tried to follow the steps in E3_Instruction - Google Docs
When I get to the install step I get the following error:
Please remove the `platform` key from the [esphome] block and use the correct platform component. This style of configuration has now been removed.
platform: ESP8266
board: esp01_1m
Any advice for changes I should make?
My best guess is to remove the platform line in the configuration and instead make sure to select that platform when adding the device.
Are there any like plug and play solutions for the Supramatic E2?
Check the github I updated the example yaml.
Buy a an E4 motor and a board from tynet:-) As fare as I know for the E2 only the Relay option is working. Check the google document in previous post there is an example with reed sensor the get feedback if door is opened or closed.

Figured it out. I guess the other change in the commit fixes a deprecation warning.
I already have a device connected to the RJ12 port, controlling the door using a humidity sensor. Is there a possibility to use both?
Hello, I need a compiled .bin for an E4 on an ESP32 dev kit with support for DHT22 and DS18B20 (or even a version with all sensors). As far as I can tell, that doesn’t exist yet. I’ve already tried compiling it myself, but I keep getting error messages…
It would be great if someone with more knowledge could help here.
