How are bugfixes installed

Hello! New to the HA community. I have what I think is a bug that’s been identified here: Fix more-info media source select by karwosts · Pull Request #29400 · home-assistant/frontend · GitHub
How do I go about getting the fix? Do I wait for a version release? If waiting for 2026.2.2, is that expected soon? I saw that in theory it should be released today, does practice usually follow theory? Is the only way to obtain it through the “check for updates” feature of the app?

Thanks Tom. I see there are release announcements for monthly releases, but I have not been able to find them for interim patch releases (I’ve looked). Can you provide me a link where I might monitor that? Or do I just keep clicking check for updates?

Updates when ready will show up in your settings folder.
