How can I reliably trigger the sipjs-card to register and answer the call even if the view is opened after the call has already started ringing?"

I’m using the sipjs-card in Home Assistant with an Asterisk. The problem is that if an incoming call starts ringing before I open the Lovelace view containing the sipjs-card, the card doesn’t receive the call when I eventually open the view. It seems the card isn’t registering or initializing quickly enough after page load to catch the already-ringing call.
