I purchased a BMAX mini PC with Windows 11 and, following the instructions on home-assistant.io (Generic x86-64 installation), I first booted into Ubuntu and then installed the Home Assistant Operating System.
This is:
OS version: OS 17.1
Home Assistant Core: 2026.2.3
The installation went without any problems. Afterwards, I started Home Assistant and during the onboarding process chose to restore a backup.tar file of 872 MB.
This process ran for 14 hours and was still not finished, so I interrupted/stopped it.
The display shows:
System is ready! Use browser or app to configure.
I can no longer access Home Assistant via ipaddress:8123 or homeassistant.local:8123.
This also does not work after configuring the WiFi connection, which the system now indicates is working.
I tried booting with an Ubuntu USB stick to start over from scratch. Unfortunately, I cannot select USB boot in the boot menu.
What can I do from the HA prompt to start over again or access Home Assistant?
