How come we cannot change basic configuration settings without deleting and running the entire setup?

Something as simple as an IP change forces users to delete an entire integration and set it up again. This is nuts. It often requires re-reading the documentation and figuring out esoteric things we set up years ago. Just because a device changes its IP address.

Is it for some particular integration? Which one?
