I noticed that my SkyConnect is using the firmware 7.1.1.0 build 273 which I believe is quite old and some new releases fixes some bugs I’m experiencing. I bought it in September 2024, so as per the website, I cannot use the web flasher.
I’m using Docker so I can’t use the flashing tool addon either.
Is there a guide on how I can flash it? Also as it’s my only Zigbee coordinator how do I flash it and recover the backup? Will home assistant let me restore my Zigbee network from backup if it doesn’t see the coordinator after I flash it?
Also on the website it says
If you have a working Zigbee or Thread setup today, don’t update right now. It is recommended to wait until the new update system lands sometime early 2025.
Does anyone know when this might be available? I might just wait for this.
