how do i revert back to the classic style trusted and true.. it doesnt look so great nore the coloring on certain backgrounds

100% written with AI and works for my standard theme. If it does not work for your coloring, might need to edit it.
@jaaem thanks that fixed it.. i did find also about making themes but it wasnt back the way orginally... least i dont have my sister b itching at me now getting pissed it was changed.. last time they did it too when they took away the blue bar header my sister blasted me too getting angry that they removed it.. had to get ways to fix it... it be nice fi they wanna do these things offer a toggle switch or a setting to classic mode etc... this way people can flip back and forth...
I agree. Making the blue bar white which was there FOR YEARS was annoying and thankfully someone posted a fix.
I understand the dev's wanting to make "progress", but people specifically use Home Assistant to make it (and keep it) their own way. Changing the aesthetic of something people spend hours tweaking and looking at should only be forced if absolutely required and should have a fall back. I cannot image keeping the old switch sytle (that has been around since at least 5+ years) was imperative to do a forced change because the code base would not be maintainable otherwise.
The usual refrain of "you don't need to update" or "its open source you can do a PR" is just alientating. I am glad I have the skills to make changes, make my own custom integrations, and now can use Claude to fix things if I am too lazy to learn.
@jaaem ya it gets frustrating... my coding days ended several years ago doing vb net for years and vb 6 i dable with the python a little but maybe if i was 25 years younger lol now i just complain or get someone else to do it. lol
ya i liked the blue or transparant.. but when you set it up and then an update just screws it then you hear from yoru sister or others be from there wives or what not screaming at them to fix it.. as i cant see how changing it buggers up code if people can bring it back with java script or what nots so its something they could just left in and just toggle or choose... like they have for dashboards.. layout section,masonary,sidebar etc... cant see that you cant radio button or so the same for there blue bar, or the toggles..
but least my sister is no longer screaming at me telling me she dont like the new style lol
