How integrate my Ecgsolax 6.5kW 48V Off-grid inverter into Home Assistant

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to integrate my Ecgsolax 6.5kW 48V Off-grid inverter into Home Assistant, but I’ve hit a wall. Here are the details:

What I’ve tried so far:

  1. Solarman Integration (HACS): Tried both the old and the new (StephanJoubert) versions.
  2. Local Connection: Tried IP address on port 8899 (TCP). The logger pings, but the integration stays “Disconnected.”
  3. Lookup Files: Tested many YAMLs (deye_hybrid, sofare_lsw3, voltronic_max, axpert_mks_8kw), but none seem to work.
  4. SolarAssistant: Contacted support, but they mentioned they don’t support this specific model yet.

Additional Info:

  • I have a JK BMS connected to a Raspberry Pi running SolarAssistant, which I plan to bridge via MQTT.
  • My goal is to read inverter data and potentially change settings (like AC charging priority based on spot prices) through Home Assistant.

Does anyone have a working Lookup File (YAML) for this 732-series logger or a custom integration that works with the new Ecgsolax firmware? Any tips on how to bypass the “Disconnected” status would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance for any help!

I don’t have an immediate answer but there is a category for request of new integrations in the HA Feature Request area.
