Hi everyone,
I’m trying to integrate my Ecgsolax 6.5kW 48V Off-grid inverter into Home Assistant, but I’ve hit a wall. Here are the details:
- Model: Ecgsolax 6.5kW 48V (Off-grid/Grid-tie capable). https://www.ecgsolax.com/collection…h-mppt-all-in-one-off-grid-solar-power-system
- WiFi Logger: Using the WattSeek (Solarman based) stick.
- Logger S/N: Starts with 732… (14 digits).
- Current Setup: The inverter works fine with the WattSeek app/cloud, but I cannot get it to talk to Home Assistant locally.
What I’ve tried so far:
- Solarman Integration (HACS): Tried both the old and the new (StephanJoubert) versions.
- Local Connection: Tried IP address on port 8899 (TCP). The logger pings, but the integration stays “Disconnected.”
- Lookup Files: Tested many YAMLs (deye_hybrid, sofare_lsw3, voltronic_max, axpert_mks_8kw), but none seem to work.
- SolarAssistant: Contacted support, but they mentioned they don’t support this specific model yet.
Additional Info:
- I have a JK BMS connected to a Raspberry Pi running SolarAssistant, which I plan to bridge via MQTT.
- My goal is to read inverter data and potentially change settings (like AC charging priority based on spot prices) through Home Assistant.
Does anyone have a working Lookup File (YAML) for this 732-series logger or a custom integration that works with the new Ecgsolax firmware? Any tips on how to bypass the “Disconnected” status would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance for any help!
