Is there a EU (hw 3.0) version available as well? I migrated the 5 iBlinds in my house onto home assistant last week, it would be nice to have the status available for them.

I just updated ZWave JS to 0.28.0 featuring Z-Wave JS 15.19.0. I got repair notices to reinterview all of my devices that I had upgraded to the beta firmware. I did not notice iBlinds mentioned in the changelog.
I reinterviewed one and it seems to be working. However, WR is no longer being provided by zwave_js integration.
Also devices that I did not reinterview appear to be working still, and have WR setting.
Just wondering if this is expected or not. I’ll keep an eye tonight to see if things keep working.

So far so good. Actually the update that I just did today (another one to Zwave JS) fixed the missing WR. So things still seem to be working properly. I still have some things to tweak and look into the percentages and if they say open or close, but my automations haven’t stopped wokring.
I moved 11 blinds over from Hubitat to HomeAssistant using the beta firmware update. it’s been a week and so far so good. I have only had one blind fake-open and stay closed when it reported open. I just pressed the button on the blind and it got back in sync.
All my automation within HomeAssistant respond well and i even have the pass over to HomeKit working great! So far I am very pleased with this setup!
Thanks, got 3.09_EU_11 installed today on 5 blinds. Took a bit of effort to configure everything, had to adjust the automations a bit, but all is up and running. So far, all function work, status is reported correctly both in HA and Homekit through Homekit bridge.

I just want to provide an anecdote that might get a more ideal solution happening.
We’re trying to migrate away from SomfyRTS blinds, because SomfyRTS is incredibly unreliable in our house. I’m currently exploring these iBlinds, since they’re Z-Wave, and our Z-Wave mesh is more reliable. The blinds that use SomfyRTS are using their Clever retrofit kit. We’ve integrated them into Home Assistant with ESPSomfy-RTS/ESPSomfy-RTS-HA. I don’t know how, but these blinds show up with percentage. For example, these are ESPSomfy-RTS blinds in our Den:
I’m not going to open them at the moment, because it’s late at night right now, but they report percentage, open, and closed like they’re supposed to. All of the buttons work, whole thing.
I’m pretty sure @rstrouse is gone from the internet these days, but maybe someone more familiar with Home Assistant can figure out how ESPSomfy-RTS-HA is managing to report horizontal blinds with a tilt percentage even on the latest version of Home Assistant. If so, perhaps the same thing could be done for the iBlinds firmware?

). So I dunno, is that possible with the Z-Wave integration? Or is this sort of only a thing a custom component can do because it has lower-level access to what data gets sent to Home Assistant?
IMHO, the “Beta” firmware that is under discussion needs to have some buy-in from the HA devs first. If they don’t think this approach is acceptable, no need to post the firmware to ZwaveJS.
I have some SwitchBot Tilt blinds and in HA, it also has percentages with state Open/Closed (and not Unknown). I believe it is due to the way the underlying HA SwitchBot Integration handles this. Both SwitchBot Integration and iBlinds show these blinds having a feature set of “240” which means Tilt-only, but its the ZWave Integration (I suspect) that has chosen to make Tilt-only blinds having a state of “Unknown”. If correct, then no not possible to do this in ZWave Integration as the ZWave devs have already made their decision on this for Tilt-only blinds.
I’m neither here nor there about involving the Home Assistant maintainers (we’re here now because of their past decision and subsequent radio silence, so I’m not all that inclined to believe it’ll be a fruitful conversation). But I was only pointing out that making a discussion to add firmware isn’t the process to follow for Z-Wave.js, and that there’s a different process for it.
