I have 3.3v usb to serial adapter and I don’t want to solder.

I see a number of helpers holding a number of wires, or BlueTack, or some very fine clips in your future.

You need to have a consistent connection for the entire data transmission session, something a solder joint pretty much guarantees if done correctly. Any data corruption and you have a brick and have to repeat the exercise.

Don’t forget TX->RX, and RX->TX. No live mains.
