I have a Plex Media Server accessible in Music Assistant with Homeii Flow Card. This works fine. I’m attempting to find a reliable way of playback on Echo devices but I believe the Amazon API is not friendly! I use the Plex skill currently and Alexa Media Player for TTS prompts, but the skill is going to be retired in June 2026.
I added the Alexa provider in MA and my devices are found but they don’t play. I get 404 errors and something to do with ‘intents’ appears not to be working.
I believe I’m going to have to start over probably using a different setup / media server if I have any hope of reaching my goal: Echo playback!
Does anyone have any suggestions?
