In an old Home Assistant installation, I configured the Lonsonho QS-Zigbee-C01 blind controllers with the corresponding pairing button. However, those devices are now inside the blinds drawer, and I can’t access them to re-pair them in my new HA installation. I don’t know if there’s a way to copy the code from a file from the old installation that would allow me to re-add them to Zigbee2mqtt if without pressing the re-pairing button. Thanks.
You can restore your Z2M settings from a backup without the need to pair them again.
Have you already re-paired your other ZigBee devices in the new HA install?
I could try restoring the old installation, but I was having problems with the new version of zigbee2mqtt, and I wanted to have a “clean” installation. Thanks!!
With Z2M, a clean install comes with resetting devices. Restoring keeps the device settings in place and you can upgrade the Z2M version to the version of your choice.
