I think we need a bit more info on what your setup is to be able to understand your situation and the context of your question.
What gateway are you refering to and what firmware and for what device?
We’ve ported HOS to our own gateway, but every time HOS updates, we need to put the HOS core update package on our own HTTP server and then modify the update address in HOS to update. Could we put our gateway’s port number on the HOS mainline, so that our gateway can automatically update when HOS updates?
HOS? What is HOS? ![]()
Sorry, HAOS, not HOS
I looked at ADR-0017, which says it needs to support the latest U-Boot and the latest kernel, and that HOS can provide official support. Are there any specific steps, such as:
Submitting to U-Boot
Submitting to Kenrel
Applying to HOS for support?
Where can I find instructions on getting HOS to support our hardware?
What gateway? Whats ADR-0017?
Give some more information. Make and model, some logs and some yaml code (suitably formatted) would make it easier to see what your difficulty is.
Our own board, the model is DSGW210, DSGW290, DSGW130…
I think you should try to contact Open Home Foundation (https://www.openhomefoundation.org/).
The DSGW-130 looks like a smart display and that does not have enough ram to run HAOS.
The DSGW-210 seems to have 2Gb ram and a Cortex-A53 CPU, which is the same as a Raspberry Pi 3B+. It should be able to run HAOS, but the ram and CPU power is just on the edge, IMHO.
The DSGW-290 have 4Gb of ram, which is fine, but the Cortex-A55 CPU is only slightly better than the Cortex-A53, so still a bit on the thin side there.
I did not look through the entire product range, but the DSGW-510 does look kind of interesting, especially if there where an addon available to take use of the many expansions options included, like the RS232, RS385, CANBUS, MBUS and so on. The CPU is on par with a Raspberry Pi4B here and the 4Gb of ram looks okay too.
so, i must contact the open home to support my board,
here is no steps to add my gateway to the haos offical?
You could try to make a Feature Request directly to HAOS.
The boards here are mostly users volunteering their time to support the system.
Most do not have any connection to the HA developers.
