How to add Sonoff USB to HA in QNAP Docker

I have HA running well in Docker Station on my QNAP NAS. Trying to add the Zigbee Sonoff USB (-P version) but when I choose the ZHA integration, Im asked for the serial path. Installed Putty to SSH in as Admin and can do list but there is no /dev/serial folder, only /dev etc. I installed the USB 5.01 drivers as recommended, multiple reboots and reconnects but still no luck in getting it connected. Help much appreciated. thx

UPDATE - gave up on this approach, installed it on an old laptop instead of the qnap and it works great, just need to uninstall the container, HA etc from the nas.
