How to change Zigbee Rotary Knob to the same definition?

Hi,
I have 2 tuya rotary smart knobs and both were added flawlessly to HA but when I rotate both of them rights they both fire a different event and on one the double press doesn’t work. Are they different version and each is compatible with a different setup?

I am especially interested in which part of my HA is firing these events when I listen to them in dev tools.

Thanks for your help.

I would say they are exacuthe same, even down to the name of the device.

Sorry. I pasted the same pic 2 times. I fixed it in the post.

Have you tried removing the device and adding it again?

Yes. Many times.
I just don’t understand where it decides which “implementation” it uses therefore which events will be provided.

These devices typically have 2 modes (scene mode and remote mode). For most of them, you only need to fast-click the button 3 times to switch the mode of the device. Make sure yours are on remote mode. Scene mode only works well within Tuya’s proprietary system/app.

Thanks.
Do you know if there is a project to flash them and if it’s possible? I couldn’t find anything.

Not that I’ve found, yet. For zigbee devices, you don’t flash away from their intended interface. There are, however, custom device firmwares for some Zigbee devices. I’ve found two so far, a tuya zigbee switch one for wired switches and one for tuya human presence sensors. I’ve personally done the one for presence sensors and it works great.

But if what you mean by asking is flashing them to use with ESPHome, Tasmota, or OpenBeken, then you should know that’s only for WiFi devices, not zigbee.
