How to configure Aqara T1 Vibration sensor

Aqara = Xiaomi. They’re here zha-device-handlers/zhaquirks/xiaomi at dev · zigpy/zha-device-handlers · GitHub, but the only vibration sensor in that folder is vibration_aq1.py, not your model.

According to the quirk you loaded, value 1 means triple tap. Itshould also report simply “vibration” from what I can tell. However, the vibration is also using value=1, but on a different cluster. No idea if that code is correct or whether they made a mistake

There’s another quirk further down in that github page (a few posts up from the post you just made), which creates a vibration entity. Maybe give it a shot if you don’t get anywhere with your current quirk.

it’s better indeed, different events are logged

and has the binary

but…
it’s far from perfect..
and the binary remains on for a very long time.

its more of a hobby project than a final retail if you ask me..
which is kind of cool of course, just like the esphome yaml configurability.

70s according to the github thread. That’s not too bad tbh, as long as you factor that cooldown into your automations.
