How to connect cameras to frigate via PoE

Say I have cameras all connected to an NVR via PoE. can I hardwire my NVR to the machine frigate is running on so that frigate is able to get the streams?

also, from the threads that I have read, it seems that connecting cameras to frigate wirelessly via IP streams is really common.
I’m thinking, isn’t this not that reliable considering they could be jammed?

I have no experience in cameras whatsoever, and this would be my first time trying to implement them.

No, cable both the NVR and Frigate server to a network switch. This can be your home modem/router if it has enough LAN ports.

Do you have individual camera rtsp URLs from the NVR that frigate can use?

Hard-wired is the better option for reliability and security.
