I am trying to control a samsung 2026 oled tv and a Magenta Tv box via Hass
I tried many ways but Whatever I setup It has a stupid bug finally.
I don’t want to keep the tv on standby so I cut power via a smart plug. But the oled tv must stay in standby at least 10min because the tv must do some screen optimization ALWAYS after switching off 
. Ok i can settle a delay of 10 min in the automation. But no this doesn’t work because I switching off the tv via the Magenta tv box ( via hdmi control). This works fine, the tv box switches off and also turn off the tv. But the dump tv now detects that the tv box is off and wakes up again and insists to checking the power supply. I could silence the tv via the automation, but no the tv will then do the screen optimization on next startup lasting for 10 min. Etc. I try samsung integration etc. Nothing works. Anyone who succeed?
Besides suggesting you read this to provide clearer info, I wouldn’t recommend switching off an OLED from power.
They require periodic pixel cleaning cycles while in standby - if you don’t allow that, you’ll be suffering from screen burn in a couple of years & won’t be able to complain to the manufacturer.
