I own a set of ‘Aqara Curtain Driver E1’ drivers and try to control them via Home Assistant without Aqara hub. I first tried that using a Sonoff P usb ZHA, which worked partly. 
Since I was not content with that I did buy the newer Sonoff E usb, which does not interface with the Curtain driver at all 
So yesterday, I did install MQTT / core-mosquitto … which is running … however I have really no idea how to have devices controlled by MQTT
More over I have no Idea if it is possible to control one set of devices via ZHA and some other devices via MQTT
So my questions are:
- is a combination of MQTT and ZHA possible !?
- if so how to add an device to MQTT (in the latest Home Assistant version)
- if someone managed to get ‘full’ control over the Aqara Curtain Driver E1 device (without using the Aqara hub), I would love to hear how
