Sometimes after a restart all of my entities don’t show up in Home Assistant. Once in a while the connection to Hue or Eufy doesn’t come through. I just had a case where none of my sonos speakers came through after a restart.
I usually don’t notice until something doesn’t work right and that causes lots of frustration. Anyone know how I can find all unknown entities? Maybe with some kind of loop?
When the entities don’t show up, are there any errors reported in Home Assistant’s system log?
I’ll have to check next time to be sure. I do think something shows up. Assuming it does, do you have some way to leverage that information other than the painful approach of manually looking at the log after every restart?
I’ve never experienced the problem you have observed. However, if I did, the first thing I would do to begin resolving it would be to examine the log for any clues.
