I have a piece of software that pretends to be a Hue bridge. It works well enough for Alexa to discover the fake bulbs. At the backend I use it to control my media center (“alexa tell media to select bluray”; “alexa tell media to play”; etc).
I would like to have the state of this fake bridge show in HA, but I can’t add the bridge to my configuration because it runs on port 5000; adding 10.20.30.40:5000 fails 'cos it’s not a valid IP address.
Any ideas?
