How to edit yaml on ESP on docker (synology)

Hi there,

I got a few new ESP32-c3s which I want to connect to RGB led strips. However, after installing the first one and adding it in the ESPHone add-on, I don’t see the ‘edit’ button where I should change / upload the yaml file.

In the past I used HA on a raspberry, but found this to be instable so I moved to a Synology nas. A previous ESP I edited while on the raspberry worked out well, but I can’t do the same now again.

I read somewhere that this is not enabled when using HA in docker, is that right? How can I do this?

No.

Try logout esphome dashboard and log back in

Docker does not use addons
HAOS has addons

Have you seen WLED
It is better for rgb led strings and integrate well with HA
