What I did was first time, I held the button in until it started to blink.
Then I popped up in ha zha
I named it and everything
I then went to bind it and to my bedroom group I made
Then I reconfigured the switch
Then the 2 lights.
It doesn’t respond to anything. Any ideas?
I have been seeing an issue when I pair my Lutron Aurora with Home Assistant and use Developer Tools to view zha_event that when I press the center button of the Aurora sometimes it will emit 255 multiple times instead of toggling between 255 and 0. This leads to instability in the toggle function. Has anyone else seen this?
For anyone having issues with single button presses or other data being inconsistent:
I believe the main culprit is having a Zigbee coordinator that is built on ezsp or ember (this is the case with HA Yellow, Sonoff Dongle-E, etc). If you get a zigbee coordinator built on zstack (Sonoff Dongle-P, likely also the OP’s coordinator, etc) it will likely work. I transitioned to a zstack coordinator and also went from ZHA to Zigbee2MQTT and it now works without a hitch.
Can’t say much for the difference between ZHA and Z2MQTT but I’d bet the main culprit is the chip inside these coordinators.
