How to integrate OHF-Voice Intents into Home Assistant?

Hi everyone,

I’m interested in using the intents from the Open Home Foundation Voice project (GitHub - OHF-Voice/intents: Intents to be used with Home Assistant) in my Home Assistant setup.

I would like to know what is the best way to integrate these intents. Specifically:

  1. Are these intents already included by default in the current Assist/Voice Assistant implementation?
  2. If not, is there a recommended way to manually add or sync them to my local configuration?
  3. Do I need to install any specific integration or can I just copy the YAML files to a specific folder?

I’m trying to improve the voice commands in my language and would appreciate any guidance on how Home Assistant handles these OHF intents currently.

Intents are part of Home Assistant. All PRs accepted during the month are included in the new version of the library, after which it is updated in the major HA update. So, improve the intents for your language, and don’t worry about the rest.
