How to integrate Zehnder Comfospot 50s into HA (maybe without cloud API)

Hello to the HA World out there,

i’m pretty new to HA and finding myself in a position where i am renovation oour new family home. So i started to build a smart home base for our little family. Now due to many factors i was forced to buy Zehnder ComfoSpot50 ventilators and since i will start using them the next couple of weeks my question would be, if anyone has an idea how to integrate them into HA.

I also bought a Connect Box to have app accessablity, but wether integrations nor a lot of tips are out there.

FYI
Using a Rasberry 5 Pi with HA OS on it.

I already contacted the Zehnder support, which gave me access to the cloud API data. (But to be honest, the cloud is not the ideal way to control these fans)

Actually i just need simple feature like fan speed set, activating and deactivating features like summer ventilation and winter mode.

Maybe someone has an idea or already has done a similar thing with these products…

Same here.

I have the new Zehnder ComfoAir Fit 100, Connect Box and the Zehnder Connect App. That works flawless.
But it would be nice to have a solution for HA.

I have a Zehnder ComfoAir Fit 100 running with this solution:

You have to buy the PCB an the ESP - but it works perfectly with the Fit 100 and 100% locally.

Hi, since Lorenz solution doesn’t work for fan speed 0, i.e. stand-by, I built my own OSS solution, based on the same principle but with a custom PCB that works even when the fan is off and a custom esphome component. (GitHub - cornim/comfospot50 · GitHub)
