How to make an under desk tray remotely controlled?

I have this tray and I want to add an ability to move the forward/backward rails remotely, from Home Assistant.

What’s the easiest way to do that?

As I understand one way would be to add a linear actuator… and something like Shelly Plus 1PM?

Can someone give specific examples of all the parts needed to achieve that? Ideally sold in EU.

And what would be the best way to attach an actuator to this rail?

Probably want to look into a liner actuator with pivot so that you can have it adjust the tilt of the tray as it comes out to your preferred position.

This type of project would also align with using an ESP32 for the coding of it to work.

Someone with more experience with these would be able to advise you more on what to look for.
