I am relatively very new to HA but have loved the journey so far.
And I’m especially excited about the start conversation action and so far it works so well with Voice PE.
My question is: Is there a way to include non-verbal commands like “Pause Briefly” or fun stuff like “Yell” or even “Whisper”??
For example, “Excuse me, [pause briefly], the garage door is still open. Would you like me to close it?”
It is now so much more conversational than before, that I would rather it act like a human and say something like “Excuse me” instead of doing the Preannounce chime sound and then the message.
Yes, I tried doing one action that was just an announcement like “Excuse Me”, and the second action was the start conversation, but that doesnt work every time. Sometimes the PE just started showing the ring activation light and then nothing for a long time, didnt say or do anything.
And I guess I could record my own preannouncement but that would be really limiting.
