I have two device trackers that I want to remove. How do I do it? I get the usual warning about the entity not having a unique id…
The Device Tracker integration does not allow a unique_id to be defined so I can’t add them ‘back’ manually using YAML, restart, remove the YAML, restart and then delete the entities, which is the usual dance I go through in these circumstances.
I’ve also searched .storage\core.config_entries but they do not appear to be in there.
Will a power off and on (as opposed to a restart) do it?
What integration provides the device trackers?
are they included in the old known_devices.yaml? I have a couple of my trackers that are still configured there. If so then you should be able to delete them from there.

I came back to this this morning and they have both now disappeared. Maybe I was too impatient.
Yes, finity1, they were both manually created but I had removed all reference to them and done (at least) one restart.
1 I think, but it was a while ago now so I may be wrong, that it was your technique I was using to track my car location based on Bluetooth connection to our phones but my car now provides location natively.
