I am trying to rename my Sonos devices which are named by their room locations. E.g. by living room “device” has an arc, a sub and two speakers.
I am struggeling with the display of options of these devices, like night sound, loundness. These should be available in apple home later. But these switch are named “switch.livingroom_night_sound” or “switch.livingroom_loudness”. And this is mixed with other devices in the living room. This also applies for other rooms.
I was not able to rename the device id so they can be grouped or just recognized in the list. Is it possible that the name remain the same but the device id will be something like “sonos-livingroom” or “sonos-kitchen”. With the UI I could only change the name. And the Id did’t change!
Please help me. My goal is to add these switches to homekit_bridge so that all family members here can change the sound with their phones.
