I have allot of Music, images, and some movies stored locally, that are synced to a cloud backup.
My cloud backup provider has a plugin for HA. If I wanted to stream my medai, mainly music from HA, what are the best options? Is it all done inside the app on android an iphone from with in home assistant? How does it work when I am not at home?

But try to remember HA is a home automation system not a media server. That being said there are so many ways to do it, that it would be impossible to list them all. Although most are just addons , integrations that connect to media servers. Best bet would be to investigate something like plex or jellyfin.
