How to update HA Core to a specific release from HA OS

I read the Common Tasks - Core page (Common Tasks - Core - Home Assistant) but when I am on the console, I have a HA prompt and the commands are not available. How do I install a specific release from there?
I am running OS Version 8.2
Core 2022.7.3

I want to update to 2022.8.6 and then up to 2022.9…etc rather than the big bang of 2023.1.2
