How to use bilresa dual button, but not with blueprint

So I have a problem, where I want to use buttons with it's finicky as hell, and I don't want to use blueprints.

For me it seems that events are as unreliable as they can ever be.

The problem isn't with Home Assistant's events. It is with the button. Read the reviews. It's rubbish.

While obviously YMMV, I have two of them that are working reliably with a ZBT-2. One triggers opening and closing my bedroom shades, the other puts my living room into and out of "theater mode".
